Stephanie & Matthew Gianotti

Matthew and my cousin Stephanie met through being housemates while working in London. For their big day, they decided to pay homage to Matthew’s Italian roots by holding it in this beautiful, very old but very grand mansion called Villa Bossi, in his hometown Varese.

This was the first time I’ve been to an European wedding and it was and is still the most amazing wedding I’ve ever attended. Friends and family had flown from all over the world to witness their nuptials and only people who were willing to make the trip were there, which made it a pretty intimate occasion of only about 60-80 guests.

But were we in for a big treat! From the outdoors ceremony accompanied by a string quartet, to the amazing spread for tea time with a jazz band, a specially hired caricaturist, a 9 course dinner out in the garden, a humongous edible 3-tiered cake and finally a dance party in the cellar to end off the night! The most hospitable couple ever, giving the guests a night to remember for the years to come!
